Klay - Senior Associate/Associate - NBFC (5-8 yrs)

As an Associate within our Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), you will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects of our financial operations and services. You will work closely with senior team members to ensure efficient execution of tasks, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary:

- To underwrite proposals based on in-depth financial analysis with an overview of industry and to identify the risk along with mitigates.

- You will be working closely with the team and assist in managing the entire deal cycle from sourcing, market analysis, deal structure, preparation of Term Sheet, Financial model, Investment Committee notes and presenting to the Investment Committee.

- Wherever required, co-ordinate with consultants for timely completion of due diligence pertaining to financial, legal, and other matters.

- Coordinate and oversee the transaction documents, reviewing and finalising the same prior to execution. Ensuring that transactions executed and disbursed are performing as per transaction documents and representations and in line with credit policies.

- Working with operations team to take meaningful and corrective action in case of divergence.

Secondary:

- Meet clients on a regular basis to understand their business, funding requirement, competition landscape etc.

- Generating meaningful leads and transactions in the market.

- Doing preliminary evaluation of lending opportunities to narrow down the viable opportunities thorough primary and secondary research to understand product, supply and demand, market, financials, sponsors, group financial position, etc.

- Update the management on the transactions being evaluated, discarded (along with reasons for the same), etc. in the market.

Qualifications and Attributes :

- MBA (finance)/ CA/CFA with 4-8 years' work experience in credit and risk background across industries Work experience in NBFC, bank or Credit Funds (MUST)

- Expertise in financial analysis, including ratio analysis.

- Well conversant with MS Office applications. o Positive attitude, assertive, result oriented, self-motivated.
