Senior Analyst/Analyst - Equity Research (Buy Side)

About the role:

As a Research Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable recommendations across various domains.

Roles & Responsibility:

- Conduct rigorous screening of public companies using both qualitative and quantitative criteria, informed by industry insights and team feedback.

- Perform comprehensive due diligence on shortlisted opportunities, leveraging primary and secondary research, engagements with founders and industry experts, and deep analysis of financial and operational metrics.

- Present clear and compelling investment theses to the Portfolio Manager, supported by thorough research and analysis.

- Cultivate expertise in specific sectors and technologies through in-depth research and analysis.

- Share findings and potential investment opportunities with the team to inform decision-making.

- Assist in the development and maintenance of databases, research tools, and analytical frameworks.

- Support ad-hoc research requests and special projects as needed.

Your key qualifications & competencies:

- 4-8 years- experience in investment analysis.

- Ability to use business judgement and a structured approach towards solving complex analytical problems.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.

- Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work under tight deadlines.
