The Webmaster / Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the full digital presence of the company. This includes building and maintaining the website and ensuring an optimal UX Design; maintaining the organization's presence on social media sites; implementing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) campaigns, analyzing reports, and providing guidance for digital marketing strategies that lead to greater client engagement, positive brand awareness and sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designs, builds and edits website in Hubspot based on guidance from the organization.
- Performs routine site maintenance and ensures optimal performance across all devices.
- Tracks and maintains company's ownership of internet domains.
- UX Design: Ensures all aspects of the end-user's digital interaction with the company are aimed at creating engagement.
- Ensures consistent and unified web design across the organization's web properties.
- Researches new digital marketing trends and optimization tactics.
- Analyzes SEO metrics to measure effectiveness.
- Identifies opportunities to improve user engagement.
- Continuously provides guidance for new digital marketing campaigns and strategies that leads to greater client engagement, positive brand awareness and sales.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; software licenses; and applicable state and federal laws and regulations including data security, privacy, and intellectual property laws.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a MUST.
- Ability to explain technical situations in layman's terms.
- Experience in website management, analytics, design, and SEO best practices is a MUST.
- Experience managing websites through Hubspot is highly preferred.
- Experience using Canva, or similar software, to create basic marketing graphics is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of programming languages and operating systems.
- Experience with implementation of current IT security protocols.
- UX Design experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter, demonstrates high level of motivation and follow through.
- Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's/PG degree in Computer Science or related field required; coursework in digital media, web design, and/or computer programming highly preferred.
- Equivalent progressive professional experience may be substituted for education.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience.
