Khelfie - Business Development Manager - Golf Vertical

ABOUT KHELFIE

Khelfie is a funded Sports-Tech venture led by IIT/IIM grads and Sports Experts. We are a two-way coaching and scouting platform, and India's first sports social network.

With sports-icons such as Sehwag, Vijay Divecha (golf) and P. Gopichand on board with our idea, our cutting-edge mobile interface for remote coaching and visual feedback has already been launched for Golf & Cricket in Delhi-NCR. Our immediate plans include expansion in Golf, and reaching out to the South Asian Golfer community.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As 'Manager - Marketing and Sales', you will be responsible for:

- Design, execution and tracking of an on-ground marketing strategy for Golf:

(a) Partnerships with Golf Clubs,

(b) Organization of workshops & swing-analysis sessions in Tier-1 Cities,

(c) Partnerships with Online Golf & Sports Communities for co-branding, revenue-sharing etc.

- Building relationships with influential golfers, golf coaches, golf clubs, and the golfer community at large, and increasing Khelfie Golf app downloads

- Engaging with the active users, troubleshooting concerns and ensuring continuous engagement

- Partnering with top golf tournaments in India (Amateur, Pro and Corporate golf tournaments)

- Working closely with the founding team and iconic coaches like Amandeep Johl, Vijay Divecha and Virender Sehwag, and understanding the overall vision of the business.

- Meeting user-growth and revenue targets, and on-ground & online execution to meet these goals.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

- Young sales and marketing rockstars, willing to learn quickly and execute a marketing strategy both on-ground and through the internet.

- Knowledge of the sport (Golf) and connections within the Golfer community may prove to be a strong advantage.

- We expect you to have exceptional communication skills in English, and good understanding of mobile applications and products.

- If you love sports, have a knack of convincing people, can manage a lot of jugaad and are looking for a steep-learning curve in the world of startups!

BONUS

- Candidates will be entitled to Equity and Stock Options (ESOPs) in addition to base-salary.
