We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Key Account Manager - Ecommerce & Quickcommerce to oversee and manage key online retail accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with top ecommerce clients, optimizing product listings, driving sales growth, and executing strategic plans. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and ecommerce partners to enhance product visibility, drive performance, and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for key ecommerce accounts (e.g., Ecommerce - Pepperfry, Muthoot, Tata Cliq, Urban Ladder, Wooden Street etc. Quick Commerce - Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Flipkart Minutes etc.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Understand clients' business needs and align strategies to meet their objectives.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share for assigned ecommerce accounts.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and profitability goals.
- Conduct regular analysis of sales performance, product trends, and market opportunities.
Product Listing & Optimization:
- Oversee product listings, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and optimized for search and visibility.
- Work closely with content and marketing teams to develop engaging product descriptions, images, and promotional materials.
- Monitor inventory levels, pricing, and promotional activities to maximize sales.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Track and analyze key metrics (traffic, conversion rates, sales data) to assess account performance.
- Prepare regular sales reports and account reviews for senior management.
- Use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and recommend adjustments.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, supply chain, customer service) to ensure smooth execution of ecommerce activities.
- Manage the onboarding of new products, promotions, and campaigns with key accounts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and ecommerce best practices.
Problem Resolution:
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to inventory, order fulfillment, product listings, and customer feedback.
- Act as a liaison between the ecommerce platform and internal teams to resolve any disputes or concerns.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to each key client, outlining objectives, tactics, and timelines.
- Lead business reviews with key clients, presenting insights, performance results, and future plans.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ecommerce account management or sales, preferably with a focus on major ecommerce platforms.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Walmart Marketplace).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, MS Office, and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
