We are hiring candidates for Key account Manager- Coated Products (Sales & Marketing) experience with one of our leading steel manufacturers.
Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience:
Relevant Experience: 5-6 Years
Total Experience: 10 - 12 Years
Educational Qualifications & Certifications: B.E./ B. Tech (Metallurgy)
Functional Skills:
- Experience working in sales functions of a steel mill, steel trading company, or a steel service center.
- Proven track record of selling coated steel products in the Indian market.
- Established relationships with key end buyers/OEMs of steel products and having knowledge of various end user/application segments such as HVAC, solar, appliance, packaging, construction, PEBs, furniture, sandwich panels, P&T, etc.
- Experience working with government companies and project consultants is an added advantage.

Product Development & Commercialization:
- Create annual coated product development plan with inputs from Market
- Co-development of the product and application with customer
- Identify new customers and develop through the supply of existing / new product.
- Feedback in product development to the plant
- Assist sales team in techno-commercial issues
Sales Management:
- Handle sales for downstream products - HRPO, Cold Rolled, Galvanised and prepainted steel business.
- Manage key accounts- Increase SOB with existing customers and adding new customers.
- Achieve Sales, spread, and premium targets.
Market Development:
- Develop the market for Coated steel products. Acquiring new customers in key segments like Solar, construction, appliance, PEBs etc.
