Job Title: Key Accounts Manager

Location: Ahmedabad / Mumbai

Company: The Baker's Dozen

About Us:

- India's fastest-growing organized bakery brand, specializing in artisanal breads, cookies, cakes, and rusks. With a national presence across online and offline channels, we are expanding rapidly and looking for an experienced and passionate professional to drive key account management.

Responsibilities:

Operations:

- Monitor Purchase Orders (PO) and Stock on Hand (SOH), ensure timely stock deliveries, and coordinate with Demand Planning, Logistics, and Sales teams.

- Follow up with customers for new POs and extensions before expiry.

- Ensure timely and accurate submission of invoices, debit notes, and financial documents for MT customers and distributors.

- Work with the SCM team to maintain optimal fill rates.

- Track and manage activity calendars for Trade Teams (Merchandisers, SOs, ASMs) and ensure adherence via Bizom.

- Oversee smooth execution of new city launches, store activations, product launches, packaging changes, and MRP updates.

- Coordinate with the Finance team for timely account reconciliations.

Marketing Activities:

- Assist in developing and executing activation strategies for Modern Trade accounts.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute offers, POSM, and brand visibility campaigns.

Data Analysis:

- Analyze key business insights using Power BI / Bizom.


Including:

- Sales performance (Primary vs. Secondary vs. Offtakes).

- MOM & YOY growth trends at account/store level.

- Category/SKU-level profitability analysis.

Eligibility:

Experience:

- Minimum 5+ years in Modern Trade (MT).

- Experience in General Trade (GT) in metro cities (Mumbai/Bangalore) is preferred.

- Distributor appointment & management experience is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

- MBA in Marketing (preferably from a Tier-1 institute).

- Age below 40 years.

- Willingness to travel pan-India.

Domain Knowledge & Skills:

- Strong understanding of Modern Trade channels and experience handling regional (Namdhari, Vijetha, Ratnadeep, Dorabjee) and national accounts (Dmart, Reliance, More Retail, Spencers).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong follow-up and execution skills.

- A proactive, go-getter attitude.
