About the Role:
- Setting and achieving aspirational growth targets for the online side of the business.
- Building the JBP, defining the metrics, and driving the sales of the specific Modern Trade accounts and building relationships with the stakeholders.
- Planning and executing complete business operations of Modern Trade at each level. Building the forecast at a product, region and account level; monitoring the products listed and ensuring the deliveries of orders to achieve a market share of products.
- Establishing working relationships with Modern Trade partners, improving content on partner platforms & driving and enabling exclusive launches.
- Understanding the Key Business Drivers for this channel and managing channel forecasts.
- Collaboration with internal as well as external stakeholders to achieve the desired share in each category.
Who we are looking for:
- MBA: Sales & Marketing + Experience in Modern Trade Or Account Management
- Total Experience: 5-10 Years (Relevant Experience Min- 5 Years)
- Should have worked either as a Category Manager with Modern Trade Account or have worked as KAM for Modern Trade channel with a FMCG organizations.
- Proven work experience in Modern Trade of at least 7-10 yrs. Proficient in Key Account Management, managing data and leveraging insights to drive penetration.
- Entrepreneurial mindset to get the job done single-handedly.
- Strong Analytical as well as Communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for maximizing our presence on Modern Trade
- Assessing platform suitability, negotiating contracts, and optimizing our listings for visibility and conversion.
Trade Marketing Initiatives:
- Plan and execute trade marketing campaigns and initiatives on the platforms to enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and sales.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling promotions, advertisements, and partnerships.
Performance Analysis:
- Assess the performance of individual products or product categories within the channel.
- Make data-driven decisions regarding product offerings, pricing, and promotion.
- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve overall performance.
P&L Management:
- Take ownership of the channel's profit and loss statement. Set and manage budgets, analyse cost structures, and make informed decisions to ensure profitability and sustainable growth of the Modern Trade
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with platform representatives, partners, and vendors.
- Collaborate closely with these stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of marketing campaigns and promotions.
Competitive Analysis:
- Continuously monitor the competitive landscape on the food Modern Trade Accounts
- Provide insights on competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product offerings to inform decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution and alignment with company goals
