Responsibilities
The role required a capable sales person who has demonstrated sales experience in Retail/SME/Corporate Sales and is adept at acquisition of high-value clients, at managing long sales cycles, nurturing key client relationships personally and is an excellent role-model/mentor for his team.
The responsibilities are as below but are not limited to:
- Generating revenue through up-selling & cross-selling, building and maintaining healthy business relations with major clientele, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction by achieving delivery & quality norms
- Manage key accounts that are strategically important to the business
- Ability to identify the new business opportunities to contribute to the sales strategy at the branch level
- Be a part of on-going development of a sales team including hiring, training, and mentoring
- Prepare presentations, financial projections, and competitive analysis for the business
- Generate and achieve monthly and quarterly forecasts for the branch
- Managing the daily sales operations at the branch level, oversee collections & ageing and take necessary action, as required
Essential Skills :
- The ideal person will need to be very competitive and have a high desire to win. Strong result-orientation, ability to absorb steep sales targets will be necessary.
- For driving acquisitions and repeat business - strong retention/up sell skills are required.
- An individual with solution-selling approach and ability to develop long-term relationships is a must.
- Should be a mix of a 'thinker' and a 'do-er' who likes to roll up ones- sleeves and is hands-on/proactive
- He /She must be comfortable in an ambiguous, fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- The nature of the role requires personal selling & business development skills in addition to team management skills.
