Job Summary:
The Key Account Manager - eCommerce will be responsible for managing and expanding our presence across various eCommerce platforms. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with key online retail partners, driving sales growth, and ensuring the effective execution of eCommerce strategies to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key eCommerce partners (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket).
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the eCommerce segment.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within the eCommerce channel.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to inform sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor sales performance and key metrics, preparing regular reports and presentations for senior management.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key partners to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop and execute promotional activities and campaigns.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to ensure optimal product availability and timely delivery.
- Liaise with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment collections.
- Coordinate with the customer service team to resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to anticipate market changes and develop proactive strategies.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within the FMCG industry.
