Exponent Energy is a full stack energy company that builds chargers, batteries and everything in between to unlock 15-minute rapid charging for EVs on any vehicle format & Li-ion cell. We envision building a Flexible Energy Stack to enable a seamless flow of energy & information between the grid & vehicle to unlock a universe of products.

Exponent Energy in partnership with Magna Hire, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Key Account Manager. You'll be working with the Business team.
This team runs on coffee with an infectious passion to expand our presence in multiple cities across the country, together unlocking 15-minute rapid charging thru our Flexible Energy Stack consists of the e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charging station).

The 150+ strong team of passionate builders have a ton of EV experience and are currently looking for more builders to join one of the best EV teams in India to build & scale Exponent.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting and lead generation: Identifying and qualifying potential customers within a target market through various channels like cold calling, networking, lead scoring, and market research.
Relationship building: Developing and nurturing strong relationships with decision-makers at target companies, understanding their needs and challenges related to energy efficiency and sustainability.
Solution selling: Effectively presenting the company's energy tech solutions, highlighting their value proposition and demonstrating how they address the specific needs of each customer.
Negotiation and closing deals: Skillfully negotiating contract terms and pricing, overcoming objections, and closing deals to achieve quota targets.
Account management: Maintaining relationships with existing customers, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Market knowledge and analysis: Staying up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes in the energy sector.
Reporting and data analysis: Tracking sales performance, analyzing data to identify opportunities and trends, and reporting results to management.
Eligibility:
- At least 2 years of proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the commercial vehicles sector, last mile logistics or energy sector.
- Understanding of logistics, electric vehicles
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business etc, MBA is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Excel and powerpoint
