Equity Research Analyst - US IT Sector

Summary

- The position calls for an individual with a focus on building a career in developing insightful financial research for both buy-side and sell-side clients.

- The individual will need to have proven domain expertise in preparing detailed financial models, writing end-to-end research reports and opinion pieces.

- The current position calls for in-depth equity research experience in the US Information Technology (IT) sector.

- The role will also call for discussions with client analysts, dealers and conduct conference calls with company management.

Experience

- 2-3 years of overall experience in equity research – active coverage including modeling, participation in conference calls and end to end report writing

- Prior experience in equity research in the US IT sector is strongly preferred

- Ability to design valuation models and issue recommendations for a universe of stocks

- Ability to showcase samples of past work and references is a required qualifier.

- Experience with using information services like Bloomberg, CIQ and Thomson-Reuters.

- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to effectively articulate ideas

Eligibility

- MBA/CFA from a reputed B-School with a consistent academic record

- Demonstrable writing skills and references

- Preferred sectors: Banking & Financial Services, Real Estate and Construction

Compensation

- Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience
