Equity Research Analyst (GCC Region)

Summary

- The position calls for an individual with a focus on building a career in developing insightful financial research for both buy-side and sell-side clients. The individual will need to have proven domain expertise in preparing detailed financial models, writing end-to-end research reports and opinion pieces.

- The current position calls for in-depth equity research experience in the Middle East and the enthusiasm to learn and develop research expertise on new sectors/geographies.

- The role will also call for discussions with client analysts, dealers and conduct conference calls with company management.

Experience

- 3-5 years of overall experience in equity research – active coverage including modeling, participation in conference calls and end to end report writing

- Experience in equity research in the Middle East is strongly preferred

- Strong capabilities in financial modeling and Valuation (DCF, relative valuation, comparable company analysis)

- Ability to showcase samples of past work and references is a required qualifier.

- Experience with using information services like Bloomberg, Thomson-Reuters, and Zawya.

- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to effectively articulate ideas

Eligibility

- MBA/CFA from a reputed B-School with a consistent academic record

- Demonstrable writing skills and references

- Preferred sectors: Banking & Financial Services, Real Estate and Construction

Compensation

- Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience
