Purpose of role
To lead and execute plan for increasing market share of On- Line Broking business, through improvement of Broking platform (technology intervention) and Business Development.
Key Responsibilities
- In the individual role of Business Manager On-line Broking, the person will be responsible for bringing about technology improvements to Karvy's existing on-line Broking platform and thereby drive traffic to the on-line trading terminal
- Ideate and implement new, creative and market leading approaches to increase Karvy's share of online Broking business
- Identify key performance drivers and establish/address an agenda of top issues/opportunities to improve performance and growth
- To keep a tab on competition and ideate on new products that could be introduced to maximize revenues and customer experience
- Ensure proper risk and control, and full compliance with internal policies and external regulations for the products and services.
- To manage and develop key relationships with internal stakeholders (across KARVY's existing systems, external vendors and industry experts)
- Developing online customer insight to drive leadership at the Zonal Head/ Regional level through strategic planning, marketing support and resourcing.
- To analyse customer data and trends to develop scalable and flexible best practices for Broking business
- To engage and manage third party suppliers/vendors
Desired Skills & Experience
- Understanding of Technology and knowledge of Broking related platforms
- Techno-Sales Manager of a Broking firm or a Bank or an E-commerce company with Minimum 5 years experience in the role of driving on-line sales
- Passion for Online business and Focus on retail segment with drive and dedication
- Exceptional new business and up sell sales skills
- Proven track record of selling similar solutions to retail customers
- Ability to communicate and influence other business heads
Qualifications and Experience
Educational Qualification B.Tech with Post Graduation in Management
Competencies - Overall 8 to 10 yrs of experience in technology and sales
With Minimum 5-7 years experience of online Sales
