Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FinOps person to support our organization in optimizing financial and operational processes.
- The ideal candidate will act as an internal consultant, spearheading the implementation of SAP systems, driving business process improvements, and conducting thorough process audits.
- This role requires a understanding of finance and operations, with a strong ability to align business strategies with operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Implementation:
- Lead the rollout and integration of SAP across various departments, ensuring seamless adoption and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Business Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency gains within finance and operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance.
Process Audits:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of existing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and compliance issues.
- Recommend and oversee corrective actions to mitigate risks and enhance process reliability.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial and operational strategies with organizational goals.
- Provide expert advice and support to department heads in implementing best practices.
Training & Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on new systems, processes, and best practices.
- Ensure that teams are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate efficiently.
Performance Metrics & KPIs:
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of financial and operational processes.
- Regularly report on performance metrics and recommend adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations and finance background or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience in finance, operations, or a related consulting role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of process audit methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
