Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FinOps person to support our organization in optimizing financial and operational processes.
The ideal candidate will act as an internal consultant, spearheading the implementation of SAP systems, driving business process improvements, and conducting thorough process audits. This role requires a understanding of finance and operations, with a strong ability to align business strategies with operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Implementation:
- Lead the rollout and integration of SAP across various departments, ensuring seamless adoption and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Business Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency gains within finance and operations. Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance.
Process Audits:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of existing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and compliance issues. Recommend and oversee corrective actions to mitigate risks and enhance process reliability.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making. Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial and operational strategies with organizational goals. Provide expert advice and support to department heads in implementing best practices.
Training & Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on new systems, processes, and best practices. Ensure that teams are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate efficiently.
Performance Metrics & KPIs:
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of financial and operational processes. Regularly report on performance metrics and recommend adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations and finance background or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience in finance, operations, or a related consulting role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of process audit methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
