Finance Manager
Job Summary :
- The FinOps Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and management across four key business sectors, Logistics, Petrol Station, Liberty, and Oil Refinery.
- This role is finance-heavy, requiring strong expertise in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and operational efficiency.
- The FinOps Manager will assist the Country Head in all finance-related activities and is expected to gradually take over the leadership of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Management :
- Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies to ensure the financial health of all four businesses.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow analyses.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
Operations Management :
- Oversee the financial operations of the Logistics, Petrol Station, Liberty, and Oil Refinery sectors.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies.
- Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Reporting and Analysis :
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to the Country Head and senior management.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide financial guidance and support to business unit managers.
Team Leadership :
- Manage a team of 50 back-office staff, ensuring effective communication and coordination between front and back-office operations.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, promoting continuous professional growth.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence within the finance team.
Strategic Planning :
- Assist the Country Head in developing long-term financial strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the development of business plans.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and financial risks.
Compliance and Risk Management :
- Ensure all financial activities are conducted in accordance with local laws and corporate policies.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks associated with the businesses.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulators to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
Liaison Between Front and Back Office :
- Act as the key liaison between the front office and back-office teams, ensuring seamless communication and workflow.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise between front and back-office operations.
- Implement processes to improve collaboration and efficiency between the teams.
Transition to Finance Leadership :
- Work closely with the Country Head to gradually take on more responsibilities in finance leadership.
- Prepare to assume the role of Head of Finance, overseeing all financial activities in Mozambique.
Qualifications :
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BComm) or related roles and MBA in Finance.
Skills :
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Mozambican financial regulations and business environment is an advantage.
Compensation :
- Fix Component $2500/month in INR its 24.6LPA (Post Tax).
- Monthly Expenses $300/month in INR its 2.95LPA.
- Accommodation worth $500/month.
- Additionally a car along with a driver $200/month.
