Kapiva - Data Analytics Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques.

- The Data Analyst will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.

- This role requires proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

- The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop data-driven solutions to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.

- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.

- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

- Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.

- Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.

- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions.

- Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.

- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track business performance.

- Design and develop data visualizations and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

- Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics techniques and tools.

- Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or related field.

- Master's degree preferred.

- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.

- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).

- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).

- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
