About Role:
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Finance Manager to join our growing Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) company.
- As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in driving financial strategy, supporting decision-making processes, and ensuring the overall financial health of the organization.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, strategic planning, and business partnering.
Responsibilities:
1) Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead the development and execution of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into business performance and identify areas for improvement.
2) Strategic Decision Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and provide financial guidance on new business opportunities.
- Evaluate the financial impact of proposed strategies and investments, offering recommendations to optimize outcomes.
3) Business Partnering:
- Work closely with department heads and senior leaders to understand their financial needs and objectives.
- Provide actionable insights and financial support to aid in decision-making and achievement of business goals.
4) Performance Metrics and KPIs:
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to communicate financial performance to stakeholders.
5) Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, implementing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, economic conditions, and market changes that may impact the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA/ MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- 2-3 years proven experience in a business finance role, preferably within the D2C or e-commerce sector.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
