Kapitus established its Global Capability Center in Chennai in the year 2022 and looking for candidates to handle the Finance & Accounting activities and liaise with the US counterparts on Budget, Financials reports and expenses Management.

Reports to:

Business Head - India

- As a Corporate Finance & Accounting Professional, you will be managing the company's day-to day financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:


- Responsible for day-to-day Financial and Accounting activities including accounts finalization, taxation, audit and related regulatory compliance.

- Handle all the payables, receivables, business expenses and Banking activities.

- Prepare annual budgets, periodic financial statements and variance reports.

- Handle all employee related payments including Payroll, Statutory, TDS, PF, ESIC. (Statutory), and Reimbursements.

- Handle all GST related activities including Preparation of GSTR 1, GSTR 3. Monthly TDS, GST payments, Calculations, reconciling and filling TDS and GST return.

- Handle all FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) related activities.

- Responsible for Statutory Compliances / Income Tax, Services Tax & other tax-related matters including internal and external audits.


- Interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations and ordinances and apply complex guidelines affecting the section activities interpret governmental accounting rules and regulations.

- The candidate must have complete knowledge of Tally ERP-9 and MS Excel (Expert Level).

Requirements/qualifications:


- 04 - 10 years of relevant experience.

- Mandatory - CA & Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).

- Expertise with all cash management related company policies, SOX controls & working procedures, making improvement recommendations for an annual policy and compliance reviews.

- Proficient with standard cash management activities, such as daily cash management and reconciliation of bank accounts, corporate banking structure activities, and administration of various banking portals.

- Provide expertise and recommendations for technology applications work cross-functionally to standardize and map processes champion a technology roadmap within treasury providing support for potential RFPs as needed.

- Knowledge of Accounting Software's Tally.
