Position Summary:

Manager Marketing is responsible for planning and managing marketing, branding, public communications, and events. Taking steps to measure, enhance, and enrich the position and image of a company through various marketing interventions to ensure that department profits are maximized and marketing objectives are met.

ESSENTIAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Key KPI'S

1. Plan marketing and branding objectives, strategies, prepare and present the annual Banqueting, Catering and Events Marketing Budget to the management team for their review and finalization.

2. Expand product solutions and offerings and prepare marketing strategies with help of business operations.

3. Understand target audiences and assist teams to develop an event strategy that supports business goals

4. Develop and execute local marketing plans to build booking funnel at venues

5. Conceptualize, manage and coordinate event execution across catering venues including print, digital, social, telemarketing and/or direct mail

6. Oversee the development, design and execution of all event themes, brand and creative journey elements, and ensure all in line with objectives and overall event strategy

7. Review results and causes of significant variances

8. Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics

9. Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media

10. Coordinate all public relations activities

11. Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations

12. Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis

13. Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an on-going basis

14. Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

15. Conceptualization and execution of marketing collaterals for branding exercise
