We're recruiting a Business Development Manager to develop & grow Lifeco's business vertical. The candidate should Proactively participate to get new business through contacts, RFP & relationship of the Company's other service lines to achieve growth. The candidate Should have Market Analysis & Intelligence relevant for business conversions and will work closely with Senior team . The role will entail lead generation and help create a strong sales pipeline in order to achieve the desired business results.
The incumbent is responsible to develop, grow and retain Lifeco business by working closely with the Business Development Team & The senior Management Team to achieve challenging growth and client retention targets. This role requires prospecting and lead generation to contribute to the development of the sales pipeline in keeping with segment strategy. Please find below detailed JD :
Prospecting :
- Support the Business Development Team in the development and ownership of prospecting opportunities in alignment with stated segment sales strategy.
- Constantly look into the market activity and seek to secure new profitable business.
- Develop & use senior prospect relationships to proactively influence the target client & the scope of what comes to market.
- Track appropriate lead and support the business with major re-tenders and gradual growth bids within present contracts.
- Approach & Engage with the right people within the client organisations to build a clear picture of not only the organisational requirements but the COO/CEO and other key decision makers and influencers.
Sales Process :
- Support the segment in major organic growth of additional services through use of relationship management.
- Create and manage account strategy plans for major prospects.
- Support the Business Development Director in segment business development planning, customer and competitor analysis.
- Ensure best practice is delivered working with other departments and country entities in solutioning the best offer for Lifeco and the client
Growth Accountability :
- Maintain on-going relationships with clients and internal personnel after award of contract to build on the Clients for Lifeco philosophy.
- Actively improve standards though out the business via review of the contract with an aim to achieve highest standards.
- Ensure 100% statutory compliance are met & maintained regularly.
- Meet the clients and company expectations, through management of agreed objectives.
- Formulate high quality comprehensive monthly review documents/reports for client information outlining targets, operational issues, H&S, HR, improvements, finances etc.
The ideal candidate should have the following :
- Graduate / MBA from Sales & Marketing
- Negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on P&L .
- 5 to 6 years of experience in sales and business development experience in Corporate / Industrial Food / Facility Services ( MUST)
- Experience of using a client relationship management system
- Good organizational skills and excellent attention to detail - thinks ahead and pre-empts possible setbacks and obstacles
- Ready to travel Pan India as per Business requirement.
- Develops strong working relationships with people at all levels within an organization - has high levels of impact and influence
- Ability to work as a team and autonomously
- The ability to adapt to meet a frequently changing workplace
- Good written and verbal communication skills,
- Excellent project management skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
