Account Manager - eTech (B2B & INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH)

Job Description

We are looking for dynamic, hardworking young leader who is looking for an opportunity to manage end to end research project delivery, interact with senior professionals across the research and IT/Internet industry and is able to implement their learnings with on-ground experience in providing insights and directions to clients. The role provides exposure in the technology/internet industry across all kind of respondent profiles - consumers, businesses etc.

We are looking for self-motivated and passionate candidates who are interested in building a career in technology/internet and market research. The person we seek should be leading one of the largest syndicated products run by KANTAR IMRB in Technology and Internet sector. He/ she will be responsible for overall conceptualizing, managing and delivering all reports for the product to the clients. The position is based in Bangalore/Gurgaon. Some of the key skills required are:

- Should have at least 6 years of research/ relevant industry experience

- Experience handling large sample study - at least upwards of 10,000 sample size

- Exposure to complex sampling and weighting

- Understands the Internet/ digital space and has interest and exposure in working with clients in this space

- Should have a strong analytical quotient

- Should have had experience in research reports in MS word format

- Should be able to connect dots to build a robust storyline for clients

- Should have team management exposure and should have managed a team of at least 2 Researchers in the past

Broad Outline of Job Description

- You will be involved in writing research proposals, developing questionnaires, interacting with the field unit, briefing analytics team about data processing requirements, analyzing the data and in report or presentation preparation - will be responsible for managing the entire study from beginning to end and will also be responsible for answering client queries directly

- One of the main aspects of this role is to manage key client relationships by understanding their needs sharply and providing solutions to key questions - he should be able to foresight clients need and have to accordingly make the changes in the product for the next round

- Required to help design and execute high quality research insights using right tools and techniques to address client needs. Should be able to connect dots to draw insights from a study. Should be able to bring industry knowledge along with client business understanding and past researches to drive recommendations for client

- At the same time, he will be responsible for key delivery of all the deliverables associated with the product and would be accountable for managing certain large accounts and client relationships

- Ensuring timely delivery of research deliverables through adequate work-flow planning and organizing

- Should have a strong understanding of research process to provide valuable inputs to the team on the key aspects of data collection, analyses, data interpretation, detecting trends, and developing presentations

- Should be able to lead and motivate a team of people reporting directly or indirectly to the candidate

- Should have strong English language skills. Should be adept to managing PPTs and other visualizing tools
