Job Overview:

The SCM Excellence Manager will lead business excellence projects within the Supply Chain Management function, aiming to enhance the operating capabilities of our pharmaceutical company. The role will involve developing and implementing strategies, processes, and tools to optimize supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. This is a strategic role that requires a hands-on approach to project management, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and drive business excellence initiatives within the supply chain, focusing on enhancing operating efficiency and supporting company growth.

- Create detailed project charters, define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with company goals.

- Conduct thorough analyses of supply chain processes, including supply chain planning, demand planning, and logistics, to identify areas for improvement.

- Develop comprehensive business cases for proposed initiatives, with clear ROI and benefits analyses to secure stakeholder buy-in.

- Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for business excellence projects.

- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize supply chain processes and improve overall performance.

- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring that all initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

- Provide training and support to supply chain teams to enhance their capabilities and support the adoption of new processes and tools.

Qualifications:

- Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a Bachelor's in Technology (B.Tech) or equivalent.

Experience:

- 6 - 10 years of progressive experience in driving business excellence projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

- In-depth knowledge and experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or logistics processes.

- Proven track record in creating business cases, driving change, and effectively engaging stakeholders at various levels.

- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is highly desirable.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.

- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.

Preferred Skills:

- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.

- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
