PURPOSE:
- To sell and promote Online products. Maximise subscription renewals and product sales by increasing market penetration, visibility and by strengthening relationships amongst designated accounts.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
- Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding market performance.
- Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
- Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Managers.
- Creates and conducts proposal presentations.
- Drives preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Good in depth knowledge of the Legal/Corporate /Academic Markets
- Product knowledge of online products and subscription based selling.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Internet.
- Institutional Sales and Distribution Channel/s

EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience in sales ( 04 - 07 Years )
- Experience in Subscription based selling. ( at least 2 Years )
- Experience preferred in Online / Publishing / Legal trade / Academic Institutions
