Client: One of the Top FMCG Companies

Role: Key Accounts Manager – Departmental Sales – Modern Trade (Area Sales Manager) – It’s a PAN India Role

Reporting to: Head Departmental Sales

Location: Mumbai

Reportees: 8 direct reportees and 165 indirect reportees

Travelling required: 15 days monthly

Job Role / Key Responsibilities:

PAN India Role

1. Incharge of the sales for imported brands in a single channel ¨Departmental Stores - across India

2. Channel is on a Sale or Return¨model, hence involves push based selling and thereby extensive tracking of ground level staff and their weekly performance

3. Handle chains such as Lifestyle, Shoppers Stop, Pantaloons, Central, Brand Factory and Landmark

a. Responsible for relationship management in these chains for better placements and support

b. Responsible for market shares and growth of the brand

c. Partly accountable for commercial discussions and closure of the same

4. Handle a team of 8 reportees and 165 indirect reportees across the country

5. Planning of stocks and sales in these channels

6. Responsible of expansion of channel by opening more chains

INCUMBENT PROFILE

1. MBA from decent B School

2. A post graduate degree with specialization in sales and Marketing with a minimum of 2-4 years and max 8-10 yrs experience in Sales into Modern Trade/ Departmental Stores in FMCG setup.

3. Experience in Personal Care Modern Trade will be preferred.

4. Age bar not beyond 35 yrs.

5. The incumbent should have a high degree of quantitative analytical skills, interpersonal skills, creativity and innovation and presentation skills.
