IT Security Administrator (Group) for Corporate Headquarters in Mumbai, IN.The IT Security Administrator's role is to develop proper enterprise wide IT security solutions. This includes implementing security related solutions, analyzing architecture for vulnerabilities, reviewing logs and systems for signs of attack, receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving security service requests. Problem resolution will involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by phone, via e-mail or remotely) in a timely and accurate manner, and provide end-user assistance where required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide overall information security related expertise throughout environment
- Modify, and maintain IT security related policies
- Identify security related issues and ensure remediation
- Perform security related audits on a regular basis
- Recommend security improvements based global trends and evolving best practices
- Deploy network security related auditing and scanning tools
- Monitor network wide security, systems, and tools
- Manage user awareness campaigns to educate users on methods of attack, ex phishing, malware, social engineering, etc.
- Perform hands-on fixes at desktop level, including installing, upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups and configuring systems and applications.
- Manage service requests from end-users.
- Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by KALPATARU
- Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
- Perform preventative systems maintenance, for servers, workstations, printers and network peripherals.
- Evaluate documented resolutions and analyse trends for ways to prevent future problems.
- Perform server administration duties such as account and resource administration, data backup, and other essential administrative functions.
- Answer to and perform moves, additions and changes as they are submitted; Assist in preparing, maintaining and upholding procedures for logging, reporting and statistically monitoring operations.
- Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved. Perform post-resolution follow- up.
Skills and Abilities Required :
- Vulnerability / patch management
- In depth involvement with security related vulnerability management and incident response
- Experience using internal and external penetration testing programs
- Experience with LAN/WAN environment, and Microsoft server application support & administration.
- Extensive application support experience with Windows platforms as well as Terminal Services.
- Working technical knowledge of current software protocols and Internet standards, including TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, WINS, DHCP.
- Extensive application support experience with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent technical knowledge of PC and desktop hardware, and internal components. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills; interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening and questioning skills; analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to present ideas/solutions in user-friendly language; ability to absorb and retain information quickly; ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required; ability to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation and OEM guides; ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Education and Experience Required :
Bachelor's Degree, total 10 years of experience with minimum 5 Years in security. Professional training with industry-standard certification(s).
