Job Description.

Job Title: Account/Finance Controller.

Location: Bangalore | Company: Kaizenat Technologies.

Responsibilities:

- Manage financial records, accounts, and compliance.

- Handle tax filings (GST, TDS) & statutory ROC filings.

- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.

- Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting.

- Use Tally & MS Office for financial analysis.

- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annually) in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS). Analyze financial performance, identify key trends, and provide insightful commentary and recommendations to senior management.


- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and develop robust financial forecasting models to support business planning and resource allocation. Monitor performance against budget and forecasts, and implement corrective actions as needed.


- Internal Controls & Compliance: Design, implement, and maintain a strong internal control framework to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and accounting principles. Oversee audits (internal and external) and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.


- Treasury Management: Manage the company's cash flow, optimize working capital, and oversee banking relationships. Ensure efficient treasury operations and mitigate financial risks.


- Tax Compliance: Oversee all tax planning and compliance activities, ensuring timely and accurate filing of tax returns and adherence to tax regulations.


- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.


- Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with senior management across departments (e.g., Operations, Sales, Marketing) to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor on financial matters.


- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and leverage technology to enhance financial operations.


- Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in and lead ad hoc financial projects as required, such as mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and system implementations.


- Bachelor's/master's in Accounting/Finance (CA).


- 3+ years' experience in accounting, taxation & finance.

- Strong knowledge of financial regulations.

- Proficiency in Tally & MS Office.
