Founding Member - Business Acumen
Small businesses that account for nearly one-quarter of India's $2.9 trillion economy and employ more than 500 million workers are the worst affected by the pandemic. Nearly 35% of the 650 million small businesses across the country could shut down soon in the absence of government support.
We are on a mission to help Small business - about 63.05 million micro industries, 0.33 million small, to scale.
On this journey, we'd be :
- Nurturing Entrepreneurship
- Introduce World Class Standards
- Empower People and work on Skill Development.
About Kachap:
- Kachap started as a small SME a year back, by folks from IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi. Post-Covid, sensing the need for SME's to be supported, the pivot has happened at just about the right time.
- The platform will pick individual entrepreneurs from Rural India and help them with Skills, Finance, and Infrastructure to scale and potentially become an export superpower in that region.
- We are looking for a founding member, who has a hunger for problem-solving and is willing to travel the distance with us.
Ideal Candidate :
This is a Non-Tech Role (Business Acumen), i.e. ideal founding member will be a sales/ops hero.
- Has the knack for crunching numbers and a go-getter.
- Self Starter and 0-1 Specialist.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Help us in identifying the Product-Market Fit.
- The first 4 weeks will be spent in speaking to a lot of our TG and validate our hypothesis for WHY.
we'd expect you to pick and own a piece from the following :
a) Supply - Enterprise Partners
b) Mentoring Support Network
c) Incubation Centre

Preference :
- Preference to the person who has holistic experience in Zero to 1.
