Investment Role

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Oversee the preparation of detailed financial models, including cash flow projections, financial statements, and IRR calculations to support investment decisions and strategies.

- Conduct comprehensive analysis and interpretation of financial statements and business models, determining company and transaction valuations.

- Evaluate investment opportunities using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Draft, review, and present critical documents such as Investment Memos, Term Sheets, Pitchbooks, Teasers, and industry materials.

- Lead and provide strategic support for fundraising activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and investor expectations.

- Maintain a strong understanding of taxation, finance, and operational matters, providing insights and guidance to the investment team.

- Supervise and perform due diligence procedures, including vendor negotiations and coordination of relevant information transfers for the process.

- Assist in and oversee deal structuring and closing principles, ensuring transactions are completed efficiently and effectively.

- Oversee the finalization of accounts by coordinating with auditors. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

- Obtain and manage periodic credit ratings for portfolio assets, maintaining the company's creditworthiness.

- Prepare and manage internal MIS for all assets on a monthly basis, providing clear and actionable insights for the management team.

- Act as the primary liaison with financial institutions, banks, consultants, rating agencies, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10-12 years of experience post-qualification

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. Strong understanding of financial statements, capital structures, debt instruments, and ratio analysis.

- Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with senior professionals and key stakeholders effectively.

- Strong logical and analytical skills with a systematic problem-solving approach. Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage investment teams, driving performance and fostering a collaborative working environment.
