Role Objective
Lead the 0-1 and 1- n growth journey across our omni-channel retail ecosystem. This role is for a strategic operator who can architect scale, optimize performance, and unlock customer value across our physical retail footprint while seamlessly integrating digital and experiential levers.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & P&L Leadership
- Drive full P&L ownership of the retail vertical - from topline revenue to bottom-line contribution.
- Identify white spaces and architect the future retail blueprint - from store expansion strategy to format innovation (COCO, FOFO, pop-ups, shop-in-shop).
- Build multi-year growth strategies backed by first principles thinking, data-led insights, and cross-functional alignment.
Growth & Business Excellence
- Design and execute levers for same-store growth, footfall enhancement, conversion optimization, AOV expansion, and retention.
- Institutionalize OKRs, performance benchmarking, and retail productivity frameworks.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, and Digital to drive omni-channel initiatives that increase CLTV.
Data, Analytics & Ops Transformation
- Leverage analytics to optimize store assortment, pricing strategy, customer cohorts, and geo-expansion decisions.
- Implement tech tools for demand forecasting, workforce productivity, CRM personalization, and store intelligence.
Team Leadership & Culture
- Build, lead and inspire a high-performance team across regional retail heads, category managers, and business analysts.
- Build operating rhythms for structured problem-solving, experimentation, and performance reviews.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Education: MBA from IIMs (A/B/C/L/I/K)/ISB/Global Top-20 B-School.
- Experience: 6-10 years in high-growth environments, preferably in retail, consumer, D2C, or consulting + operating blend.
Skills:
- Strategic problem-solving with strong business acumen.
- Deep fluency with numbers, structured thinking, and hypothesis-driven execution.
- Experience with scale-up playbooks, retail transformation, or CX-led innovation.
- High agency, ownership mindset, and bias for action.
