JVP - Commercial Sales and Market Development Lead - DTC


Roles & Responsibilities:


- Responsible for overall business in the DTC Commercial space with focus on both Direct and Indirect Line of business

- Hold overall accountability for the sales and revenue for indirect channels for direct to consumer services business. You will be responsible for the multiple revenue streams that comprise the channel.

- Develop three year strategic view of the DTC commercial business detailing transformational ideas

- Understand commercial landscape, needs of MSME's and industry, and determine required solution capabilities. Work closely with marketing and product team to launch MSME specific products and proposition.

- Develop engagement plan and pursue strategic and business development engagements with executives of selected clients with focus on their commercial business growth strategy and goals

- Build partnership relationship with selected clients, providing subject matter expertise, pursuing consultative approach to identify areas of improvement, and positioning as a trusted partner to help clients achieve their goals

- Develop frameworks and engagement documents for each engagement plan

- Lead business pipeline development, coordinating internal resources for identified opportunities to maximize business conversion ratio

- Maintain and review client performance to ensure sustainability of existing ventures and to identify new opportunities

- Track economic factors and trends and adjust key initiatives where required

- Forecast projected revenues on a long, medium and short-term basis Leverage own and networks to engage and establish new client relationships.

- Drive partnership conversations for enabling to have a quick to market play in the key areas of commercial.

Experience and Skills:

- Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field with 15 or more years of management/ leadership experience in commercial business development, strategy, digital channels and analytics,

- Experience in enabling or driving commercial function within lending industry required

- Ability to effectively develop relationships, engage, advice, and persuasively communicate with CXO'S, P&L and risk heads in face-to-face scenarios demonstrating real-time insight, flexibility and sound judgment

- Strong analytical and insight-driven problem-solving skills with the ability to pursue consultative client engagements to drive business growth. Independence, initiative, business acumen, and excellent verbal, story-telling written communication, and negotiation skills

- Business maturity, and strong leadership and listening skills with the ability to analyze input from customers, partners, associates, market and environmental trends, to identify and clearly articulate needs and opportunities for growth

- Program management, with the ability to own development of business pipeline and effectively coordinate internal resources and teams to maximize business conversion

- Experience working in a matrixed environment preferred, collaborating across teams and functions

- Sound working knowledge of office automation software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint with exceptional presentation skills
