Hiring for a Junior Researcher position for a leading TV Channel, to handle end to end media research & market research - Quantitative (Preferred) and Qualitative. Exposure to TAM. Responsible for viewership analysis and updates. Providing inputs to Marketing, Sales, Distribution and Editorial teams. Look in to Inventory analysis on a regular basis

- Experience required of 2 - 4 years. Preferably from a TV Channel / Media Agency.

Position based out of Mumbai.

Qualification: Any Graduate + MBA / Any Statistical Course

Mentioned below are the job details for reference:

- Responsible for a channel primarily but will have exposure across all channels of the Network.

- Viewership analysis and updates to ensure that we increase / maintain our share of viewership

- Identify cause for drop if there is any & ways to increase viewership of our channels - is it due to timeband, market, activity on competition etc. and also recommend corrective action to minimize or ensure no drop or for increase in viewership.

- Inputs to marketing: Identifying priority markets for the channels, identify markets where viewership can be increased by marketing, mailer creations, FPC designing.

- Inputs to editorial: Recommendation on content, on air presentation, anchor feedback, programme scheduling, market focus based on TAM viewership data, TAM News Content Track and primary research both qualitative and quantitative.

- Inputs to the sales teams in terms of deal evaluation and deal creation, preparing sales pitches, identification of potential & lapsed Clients based on AdEx data, monitoring missed clients on a daily basis, training the Sales teams so as to make them comfortable with the viewership details of their channels so as to help them in their discussions with Advertisers and media agencies etc.

- Inputs to distribution: Key role in the distribution strategy - identifying focus markets for all Network channels, ROI across individual markets and operators, monitoring channel placements across operators in all India and recommending changes based on the viewership impact.

- Keeping management and all teams like editorial, marketing, sales & distribution teams updated on the overall TV scenario and more specifically on the genres that we operate in.

- Inventory analysis: Inventory analysis on a regular basis to recommend optimum inventory utilization, increase Effective rates across channels and selling time bands.
