Summary:

- Jungleworks is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant.

- This role is essential in managing daily financial transactions, preparing accurate financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Financial Transactions and Bookkeeping: Manage daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

- Financial Statements and Reports: Prepare and present financial statements and reports, providing insights into the company's financial performance.

- Bank Reconciliations and Payroll Processing: Conduct regular bank reconciliations and manage payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments.

- Banking: Oversee banking activities, maintaining relationships with financial institutions and ensuring smooth transactions.

- Regulatory Filings: Handle the filing of GST, TDS, and PF-ESI returns, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

- Audit Assistance: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

- Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies, maintaining the integrity of financial data.

Requirements:

- Educational Background: A degree in Accounting or Finance is essential.

- Experience: At least 4-6 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.

- Software Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software such as Tally and Zoho Books.

- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.

- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
