DA Academy

- Create a robust supply pool of exceptionally trained and motivated DAs to cater to the ever increasing demand of delivery services in Africa

- Fully automate the process of scouting, filtering, training and onboarding of DAs. Ensure a healthy pipeline throughout the year

- Ensure running and executing an end to end vision for the DA Academy

- Design programs with different levels of achievements for the DAs

- Budgeting and closing plans MoM to fulfill the demand.

- 3PL Partnerships and Sustainable growth

- Building CEO / COO level relationships to work closely with automotive companies to secure high quality vehicles (bikes, vans) for the DAs

- Ensure movement towards green and sustainable means of delivery by incorporating Electric Vehicles in the fleet

- Reduce overall carbon footprint by reducing emissions per package and minimize distance travelled per package

- Engage on alternative delivery models for own fleet and 3PLs

- Work on new projects and support with right delivery structure on Dark Stores, tricycle delivery, bicycle delivery

- Improve DA productivity and work of different means to increase DA income

- Increase DA loyalty for Jumia within the community

- Ensure the fleet is 100% branded and operations are 100% safe for DA

- Management of DA community events and ensure beneficial partnerships for the DAs
