We're looking for a Program Manager- Supply Chain who will
- Be responsible for empowering Supply Chain Fulfilment and First Mile Operations with process innovation, data, insights, and help in expansion.
- Build scalable processes, leverage technology to increase efficiencies, reduce losses and give a great customer experience.
- Collaborate with warehouse managers, logistics teams, and engineers to thoroughly understand business needs, warehouse requirements, and operational challenges.
- Develop, measure, monitor and report process KPIs and parameters across the Fulfillment & First Mile operations
- Represent the planning team & co-ordinate with Business, Sourcing, Category team to analyze data with regards to space allocation (viz Case size, Volumetric capacity of products, Fast Moving & slow moving), Sales, etc and innovate processes, drive initiatives, bring in automation to drive more efficiency.
- Continuously assess existing warehouse layouts and operations to identify opportunities for improvement. Measure and track efficiency gains achieved through layout modifications and optimization efforts.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with warehouse managers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and align warehouse design with business requirements.
- Improve efficiency, utilization and productivity across Fulfillment operations (e.g. Pick/Drop Productivity Increase, decreasing the Dock-to-Stock Time, etc)
- Be responsible for increase in Fill Rate of Customers - Reduction of Errors in Fulfilment Operations, ensuring First Expiry First Out, delivering clean products, reducing damages.
- Be responsible for reduction of Losses of Inventory (due to Shrinkage & handling) - Exploring innovative solutions to eliminate Missing in Crates
- Represent Planning in setting up the new Fulfillment centers at Bangalore.
An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has-
- Strong ability to marry People, Process, Tech & Infra to design a futuristic first of its kind FC.
- Proven expertise of 2-3 years in solving design problem in modern FCs (grocery expertise would be an added advantage)
- Master's / Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in warehouse design, layout optimization, and material flow analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Understanding of safety regulations, ergonomic principles, and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Project management skills to handle multiple warehouse design projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with industry trends and innovations in warehouse design and logistics.
