JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a person in business development to build relationships with top FMCG brands. This person will -

- Manage relationships with 5-10 companies of one or more categories

- Work with brands and central team to grow sales and margins

- Ensure timely and in full fulfillment, availability and quality of stocks with brands under management

- Coordinate with central teams to onboard new brands and assortment, grow sales through offers and promotions, improve first mile operations, minimize losses due to returns or damage and solve issues in payments and reconciliation

- Evaluate brand scorecard to come up with recommendations for growth and efficiency

- Recommend programs and services by studying changing needs and market trends in the region

- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies

REQUIREMENTS :

An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has-

- Ability to build relationships with sellers and buyers

- Strong analytical skills for tracking key metrics and diving deep into problems

- Good communication skills for presenting to management and collaborating with peers

- Strong execution muscle to deliver against targets

- 2-5 years experience in a similar role or in sales with top FMCG companies

- MBA from a top institute
