Role: Executive Assistant (EA) / Chief of Staff to CHRO - JSW Steel & Corporate.
Education: 5+ years of work experience post MBA. Graduation - Engineering preferred.
Location : Mumbai (will include exclusive plant travel).
Strategic Advisor to CHRO, JSW Steel
- Worked closely with the CHRO to identify and align key HR strategic intents with the overall organization goals.
- Prepared the HR division's Annual Operating Plan for FY23-24 in terms of key projects and required manpower
- Acted as a trusted advisor to the CHRO by providing insights and recommendations to drive strategic decisions
- Ensured closure of key HR interventions by providing oversight for all functional and cross-functional projects
- Regularly visited Plant sites to track the progress and identify challenges faced to ensure timely resolution
- Moderated the monthly HR Council for JSW Group to discuss strategy execution roadmap and cyclic programs
- Special Projects - Led and participated in critical cross-functional projects identified by CHRO and HR Leadership
- Drove HR transformation initiatives by formulating change management strategies for continuous improvement
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Regularly analysed and tracked key HR metrics to generate actionable insights for the CHRO and HR Leadership
- Assisted in data collection, updates and presentations for internal and external meetings like CoE Review meetings, Manufacturing HR Review Meetings, NRC, Audit Committee and other Board Committees
- Contributed to data-driven decision making by providing comprehensive reports and recommendations
- Created standardized models/frameworks to objectively measure the results of individual KPIs and projects.
Business Partnering - HR and Business Leadership.
- Worked closely with plant HR Heads/COE Heads to facilitate the achievement of intents in Annual Business Plan
- Oversaw critical projects and initiatives from conception to execution ensuring timely completion and alignment
- Senior Stakeholder Engagement - Engaged with CoE Leaders to represent the CHRO's vision and gather insights
- Succession Planning - Worked with the CHRO and executive team to identify and develop internal talent pipeline
- Leadership Hiring - Worked closely with Corporate HR Head on key leadership mandates and tracked progress
- Monitored on-roll and contractual manpower across sites to track and enhance overall manpower productivity
- HR Excellence - Maintained networks across the industry and updated leadership of latest trends and practices
