description:As we embark on becoming the first Equities desk to use Athena for Trade and Risk Management - and the first Financing desk in Markets to do so - we have open Software Engineering roles available. Our Software Engineers work with Python, AngularJS and React. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly diverse team with the chance to learn how an industry leading Trading desk operate and how a Technology team partner to support and grow the business.

What are we looking for?

- A technical leader with expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

- Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems

- Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices

- A disciplined approach to code management, testing and deployment practices

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages - no prior experience of Python, AngularJS or React is required, we've found that strong C++, Java, C# engineers take to Python quickly

- You do not need direct knowledge of Equity Derivatives as we endeavour to teach you through your role but we are looking for a self-starter with the ability to quickly pick up new ideas, concepts and technologies
