The Global Liquidity & Account Shared Services (GLASS) team is a key function within CIB Banking Technology and is responsible for the cash accounts for the International region (Demand Deposit Accounting), Global Liquidity and associated middleware, the teams are based in Bournemouth, London, Tampa, NY Metro, Chicago, Singapore, Mumbai and Bangalore. This is a strategic role within the Account Services Technology team. We are looking for a strong Software Engineer that can continue to enhance our DDA/Sub Ledger/Functional capability, whilst transforming and evolving the platform for future opportunities.

- Leading an agile feature team, the candidate will be an expert in T24 Core Interest& Tax Processing, Sweeps, Statements and Swift Payments and have the following key responsibilities:

- Understanding of the Banking domain and functional design of applications to ensure quality and alignment to the desired business outcome.

- Manage the solutioning for delivery through the full SDLC adopting an Agile approach.

- Develop meaningful relationships with key sponsors in Technology, Product and Operations to achieve common goals

- Scrum Master working in an Agile model, backlog refinement and Sprint Planning for the feature team.

- Leadership and line manager responsibilities for the team.

- Manage the Software Delivery process from requirements, estimates, delivery and resource planning

- Accountable for the quality of code deployed into production to ensure zero incidents based on defects

- Accountable for the productivity of the feature team in terms of code commit standards and testing coverage.

- Develop JPMC domain knowledge of the DDA application specializing in key functional areas

- Contribute to the end to end architectural design and functional requirements, in collaboration with Product partners.

- Ensure delivery of high quality solutions on-time and within budget.

- Oversight of peer-reviews of solution designs and related code

- As an SME on the T24 application, mentor others and raise the capability of the team on functional design and development.

- High degree of organizational skills including the use of Confluence and JIRA for managing documentation.

- In depth experience of troubleshooting issues impacting production, including working with Level 1 + 2 support teams and the business to mitigate issues 24x7.

- Ideally looking for candidates that also have JAVA - Object orientated language, Spring framework, Selenium development skills etc

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferably in the financial services industry.

- In-depth knowledge of the Temenos T24 Banking Application, focusing on; Interest, Tax, Swift Payments, Accounting, Reporting, Sweeps and Close of Business processing.

- Strong leadership skills and experience of managing a highly skilled application development feature team

- Strong knowledge of modern programming languages such as; SQL programming, Java, API development.

- Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.

- Strong experience of end to end application design and development.

- In-depth knowledge of T24 Code Deployment, Packaging, UAT Support, Non-Functional Testing principals.

- Ability to analyze and resolve technical and application issues.

- Strong knowledge of UNIX/LINUX, Oracle Database, Temenos Web Services (TWS), TAFC and TCserver.

- Experience of automated testing, deployment into production and SDLC toolsets.

- Ability to work in global collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, passionate about delivery and building an innovative culture.

- Ability to listen, analyse, influence, negotiate and use judgment to solve complex issues in order to accomplish deliverables on time.

- Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and ability to execute Agile/Scrum concepts and principles.

- Ability to translate effectively between business/Product Owner and AGILE development team.

- Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, and empowerment.

- Must have experience communicating verbally and in writing to senior management.

- High degree of organization and documentation skills including the use of Confluence and JIRA for managing product documentation

- Questioning, curious and detail focused. Able to challenge requirements to improve them.

- Financial Services Background would be beneficial - Knowledge of Treasury and Banking preferred

- Collaborates effectively with peers & broader technology, product and operations teams to ensure successful outcome based deliveries
