Domain Expert for the team:


- Act as escalation point & ensure timely and appropariate escalation of actual/ potential delays and issues with the Supervisors and Mgmt Position Summary The successful applicant will be senior member of the operations project team working for the implementation program aimed at the re-engineering of the full end to end processing cycle of the fund accounting business. The team has a global remit and will work with all the local Client Centre, utilities, Fund Admin and the Accounting Centre leads/teams across locations to agree and implement a future operating model and architecture that will significantly reduce operating costs and time to deliver. It will improve delivery and experience for all Fund Service Clients. This is a leadership role within a project delivery team that partners with technology & product development to design, develop and implement enhanced solutions financial reporting services.


- To succeed in this role you must have proven leadership, proactive decision making and coaching skills gained from experience in the finance industry, ideally in a back office environment within accounting services &/or financial reporting. You will be a highly organized individual who thrives in a demanding and fast paced work environment. Your leader will seek your expertise and give you the support to achieve. Roles & Responsibilities Working in a Strategic


Projects setting applying an AGILE methodology, the responsibilities include:


- Provide support in managing delivery of strategic projects including application development, enhancements, decommission and migrations


- Lead a team of business analysts and guide in for successful execution of projects


- Provide technical knowledge and leadership to the project team in relation to the fund accounting principles.


- Provide technical knowledge and guidance for new products, initiatives and legislative changes.


- Provide support for system upgrades and software patches


- Proactively contribute to improve system resilience and automated monitoring and alerting


- Act as an escalation point for support matters during project warranty periods


- Liaise with post Funds Services functions to study existing processes, systems and capabilities with ability


- Provide strong oversight and governance on key strategic programs and provide regular updates to various senior management forums.


- Keep up to date with industry practice, product development and evolving regulations.


- Manage diverse stakeholders across different regions and functions. Ensure appropriate governance models are established and are driven on a periodic basis.


- Drive consolidation, automation and effective representation of metrics for Securities Services Ops MBM.

- Elicitation, documentation and validation of requirements


- Solution Assessment & Validation


- Working with project team members and stakeholders to assess proposed solutions and operating models


- Ability to understand financial aspects of balance sheets, accounting, tax, client adjustments Differentiating Factors


- Leadership and Delivery Focus: Fast paced working style, ability to execute multiple projects, confident personality, ability to positively influence people and projects outcome


- Specialize in capital markets: Project implementation in Custody and Fund Services areas for Accounting

Organizational & Analytical Skills: Project Management, Automations, Quality & Risk management, Oversight and control, Transition Management (testing, designing processes, documenting), Process Management (implementing, Monitoring, improving), Operation Management (reviewing, Controlling, reporting), Stakeholder Management


- Financial Knowledge: Relevant Tax &/or Accounting qualifications


- Business Analysis: Change Management, Requirements documentation, Analysis, Testing, Project Management, Agile methodology, Story Writing


- Technical: Excel, MS Office, understanding of applications front end/back end, sql, RCA, Automation driven mindset, exposure to Data Science, Data Analytics is added advantage


- Soft skills: Attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, people manager/mentor


- Degree level qualification in Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or Finance or similar discipline.


- Current progress towards or completion of a relevant postgraduate qualification such as Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, Masters Degree, CA or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter preferred
