Description:


As a Vice President at Firmwide Finance Business Architecture team (FFBA) your accountable for leading large-scale data, infrastructure, accounting standard and business process change management events and the Chief Data Office for Finance and TCIO. You will also provides a centralized program management and business analysis capability, targeted program governance, and consistent application of program management standards including system testing and change management practices, with a current focus on overseeing the Data Acquisition framework for strategic and legacy Finance, TCIO, and Wholesale Credit Risk platforms.

As a Vice President at Business Architecture Core Services Team you are responsible for the delivery of applications and tools that enable data management, controls, data modelling and aggregation, analytics, and reporting. As a Product Owner your primary responsibility will be working on the build out and modernization of applications and services utilized for both internal and external reporting that align to critical firm-wide initiatives. You will partner with users and technology delivering within an agile framework responsible for managing the prioritized backlog to ensure the team is always maximizing delivery value against the firm's goals.

Job Responsibilities:

- Work in an Agile framework to design and build automation, data management, and digital analytics solutions

- Create and manage a roadmap for 1 or more user facing data management and analytical technology product

- Lead medium to high complexity projects related to the automation of data aggregation and business processes for internal and external reporting using both big data and cloud based solutions

- Deep expertise in understanding current and target state system architecture and banking product data

- Manage engagements with development teams to ensure business needs are translated into appropriate technical specifications, and acceptance criteria is met

- Manage the end to end SDLC lifecycle from requirements gathering to grooming to develop to testing and deployment

- Understand the various data flows and complexities as it relates to the Finance and Risk applications and infrastructure

- Strong interpersonal and partnership skills, communicating and presenting to various levels of stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

- 10+ years of related experience (financial services and/or regulatory reporting is a plus) including a bachelor's degree

- Experience with designing and/or building user facing data analytics tools, understanding and working with large volumes of data across multiple products

- Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge while managing multiple streams of work concurrently with tight deadlines

- Strong desktop skills (e.g., excel) and skills interacting with data including using SQL to query

- Ability to lead complex projects across a matrixed set of stakeholders and driving decision making through collaboration and influencing skills

- Demonstrated knowledge of one or more data & business intelligence concepts including ETL, Data Modeling, Reporting Automation, and/or Dashboarding.

- Must be detail oriented, organized, highly responsible and exhibit strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering results across multiple teams and interdependencies

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

- Lead a small team of direct reports, delivering multiple small to medium sized projects

- Deep expertise with Agile delivery, JIRA, Confluence

- Strong knowledge and multiple years of experience with a variety of banking products including Loans, Deposits, Cash, Derivatives and Securities
