- You actively lead your functional teams across Product, Design, Digital, and Technology to develop products and client experiences. A role as an Area Product Owner is for you.
- As an Area Product Owner you'll partner with both business stakeholders and engineering teams to research, design and execute upon the Business Banking Lending Roadmap.
- You will play an integral role in ensuring that projects run on time, within budget and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines, including risk and architecture.
- This will involve managing complex initiatives and designing features that address the needs of clients and modernize our platforms
Job Responsibilities :
- Translate Lending vision into requirements, partnering closely with product owners and engineering teams from solutioning through to implementation
- Develop expert knowledge in business processes and systems in Lending, as well expertise in other lines of business and technology disciplines
- Analyze impact of proposed solutions on platforms across Lending, Business Banking, Risk and Controls
- Identify, assess, and document project artifacts and business requirements
- Recommend business priorities and advise partners on options and risks of various solutions
- Define expected requirements for handoff to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) teams
- Lead business and technology stakeholders through New Product Architecture journey to create best-in-class product
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
- Bachelor's degree required, technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.) preferred
- 5+ year experience in analytical or technical capacity (Technology, Business Analysis, Product Development, etc.)
- Proficiency in Agile methodology, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PitchPro
- Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to work well in cross-functional teams and ability to partner across various disciplines and levels of technical knowledge
- A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
- Ability to quickly gain an understanding of Business Banking and its priorities while working in a matrixed environment and ability to work in an environment of strong risk and controls
