JP Morgan Chase - Vice President - Operations Risk/Controls Manager - Network Management Strategy

A key part of Network Management's strategy is to reduce the Agent Bank expense incurred by the firm. The Network Pricing Analytics team is accountable for the pricing analysis and record keeping of securities and cash agent bank cost saves. This role requires engagement with multiple stakeholders within Network Management, Operations and in the Lines of Business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a team accountable for supporting Network Managers across various activities including:

- Responding promptly and effectively to any market specific enquiries and escalations received from Network Managers

- Conducting comparative pricing analysis to estimate save opportunities and providing decision support commentary

- Tracking pricing analysis from inception to implementation and ensuring proper documentation of evidence for realized saves

- Managing saves tracker dashboard content

- Working with key stakeholders to enhance / develop tools for process and data quality improvements

- Lead and ensure team delivery as per agreed timelines and quality

- Manage the book of work and ensure there is regular dialogue with the Network Manager regional leads with a focus on contributions to achieve Network Management strategic objectives

- Work with Network Managers and internal teams to enhance available agent bank and FMI spend data

- Proactively leveraging data insights and thematic analysis of agent spend to support Network Managers

- Maintaining strong working relationships with all stakeholders with Network Management

- Identifying development opportunities and appropriate training requirements for individual team members

- Focus on controls and governance process and reporting

- Participate in and contribute to committees and governance forums as required

- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as required

- Support audit requirements as required

Qualifications/Competencies:

- Strong data analysis skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel along with familiarity with data visualization and intelligent automation tools

- Attention to detail combined with an ability to absorb information, highlight potential data quality issues and own to resolution

- Strong leader and team player with aptitude for data analytics, oversight and controls

- Good commercial acumen with an understanding of agent bank invoice attributes and structures

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Flexible attitude in dealing with multiple tasks and open to evolving processes

- Ability to build strong working relationships with business partners across the firm

- Ability to operate under tight deadlines when required.

- Effective time management including goal setting, planning, prioritizing, and monitoring
