- As a Vice President in the Global Fund Services - Change Strategy Team, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of delivering high-profile projects and promoting data automation change assignments. You will have the opportunity to manage your own project book, while being part of a dynamic team. Your role will involve strategic thinking, decision making, and detailed analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.


- As a domain expert for the team, you will act as an escalation point, ensuring timely and appropriate escalation of any potential delays and issues. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to multiple services within the JPMC Fund Services business, including Fund Accounting, Transfer Agent, Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, Static Data, Trades, COAC & Income.

Job Summary:


- This position is to understand and analyze different opportunities in the Fund Accounting business. Change person should be able to conduct process study, analyze and identify opportunities for tactical and strategic automation, elimination of manual processes, operational efficiencies, operating model gap and other value add areas.

- The team has a global remit and will work with all the local Client Centre, utilities, Fund Admin and the Accounting Centre leads/teams across locations to agree and implement a future operating model and architecture that will significantly reduce operating costs and time to deliver.


- It will improve delivery and experience for all Fund Service Clients. This is a leadership role within a project delivery team that partners with technology & product development to design, develop and implement enhanced solutions in relation to taxation services &/or financial reporting services.

- To succeed in this role you must have Analysis, documentation and coaching skills gained from experience in the finance industry, ideally in a back office environment within accounting services &/or financial reporting.


- You will be a highly organized individual who thrives in a demanding and fast paced work environment.


- The role calls for a highly motivated individual, preferably with a Fund Services Operations background and effective problem solving and communication skills. Your leader will seek your expertise and give you the support to achieve.

Job responsibilities:

- Lead reviews of functional processes across the GFSO organization to reduce overall operational reisk and build a more robust end-to-end process - get to the bottom of "WHY", answer the "SO WHAT", and utilize creative problem solving

- Liaise with Fund Accounting functions to study existing processes, systems and capabilities with ability to draw process flow

- Understanding of Fund Services - Fund Accounting (primary), Reporting, Performance and Compliance functions (secondary) .Ability to understand financial aspects of balance sheets, accounting, tax, client adjustments

- Understand the impact of a variety of client fund structures in the context of system static data setup.

- Lead reviews of functional processes across the GFSO organization to reduce overall operational risk and build a more robust end-to-end process - get to the bottom of 'why', answer the 'so what', and utilize creative problem-solving.

- Develop and leverage a digitalisation skillset and a data-centric mindset to identify and execute process improvement.

- Create outstanding visual and verbal stories to help articulate this journey including securing approval from senior leaders and communicating new processes to operations team. Ability to identify process gaps and make recommendations on how to address identified gaps, as well as implications for team structure, location strategy, functional alignment.

- Building strong partnerships with Operations, Product and Technology teams to lead, design and deliver high-quality solutions

- Engage with stakeholders using strong interpersonal and influencing skills to challenge the process.

- Running a book of work; own and project manage key deliverables, working to tight deadlines and leading projects from initiation to conclusion.

- Managing the book of work of your team and ensuring that they meet their targets and resolve blockers

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

- 8 year+ experience in financial services in fund services business

- 3 year+ experience in Program / Project Management

- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and with external stakeholders.

- A commitment to excellence and attention to detail with the ability to align those details to the big picture strategy

- Strong organisational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing and negotiation skills with ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships and the ability to succinctly communicate complex issues to audiences

- Proactive mindset, self-motivated and able to work with higher degree of independence

- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; intelligent automation toolkit: Alteryx, Tableau, UiPath, Xceptor

- Strong knowledge of signavio, process flow & diagrams and ability to show bottlenecks and comparative analysis

- Capability of presenting to an Managing Director level audience will be expected

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills:

- Experience in working in a project management team is highly desirable

- Strong knowledge of Fund Accounting would be an advantage

- A track record of delivering multiple projects and senior presentation
