Responsibility:
- As Asia Pacific Lead for Counterparty Credit party Risk and Strategy Team, you will lead a team of credit officers who are responsible for managing the credit risk and membership risks arising from the APAC CCP credit portfolio. In this role, you will
- Pro-actively monitor and explain the drivers of CCP credit exposures and take actions to address limit breaches as required
- Review and approve annual credit reviews inclusive of proposed ratings and facility changes
- Identify emerging risks and monitor market trends, assess how these impact CCP portfolios and partner with businesses to take appropriate risk-mitigating actions
- Stay abreast of CCP risk developments/rulebook changes and leverage CCP relationships to seek changes to address any risk concerns
- Present topical CCP risk updates to regional and legal entity risk committees and lines of business
- Represent JPM in CCP-risk related external forums including industry working groups to drive best practices in the region
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior talent across the global team
Minimum Skills, Experience and Qualifications

- 8+ years in experience in financial services, including in either credit risk and/or market risk
- Demonstrated interest in/knowledge of central counterparties and their risk management frameworks
- Familiarity with market and credit risk exposure metrics with respect to exchange-traded/Over the counter derivatives and securities/securities financing transactions
- Strong communication and partnership skills with ability to lead internal/external discussions with senior risk professionals at peer firms/ clients, as well as with regulators
- Exceptional analytical skills, intellectually curious and strong attention to detail
