This role is for a Vice President level audit professional to join the FRDC Technology Audit team. The Finance Risk Data Controls (FRDC) Technology Audit team is responsible for assessing the adequacy of the control environments as it relates to technology across Finance, Risk, Compliance and Data Management functions. This is achieved through a program of audit coverage, which is performed and managed by a global team of integrated technology and business audit specialists. This position will primarily be responsible for the technology coverage of Risk integrated audits, but will also support other general technology and FRDC audits. As a Vice President, you will be responsible for scoping, managing and/or performing integrated FRDC and technology audits in a dynamic environment, partnering with business auditors covering FRDC functions, and participating in applicable control and governance forums. This position will be based in either Bangalore, India or Mumbai, India. Responsibilities for this role include the following- - Plan, execute and document technology control testing on audits, including performing risk assessments, scoping, control evaluation, report drafting and follow-up and verification of issues. - Manage, coach, and review the work of junior team members. - Find ways to drive efficiency of testing through use of data analytics and thinking outside the box. Do not be afraid to challenge the way things have been done in the past; consider whether we should or should not be testing something (risk based thinking), and how we can test more effectively. - Effectively lead and contribute during audit engagements including timely reviews and constructive feedback. - Will be accountable for meeting deliverable deadlines, adhering to department and professional standards and utilizing consistent methodology. - Communicate audit findings to management and identify opportunities for improvement in the design and effectiveness of key controls. - Build and maintain relationships with technology stakeholders and with other members of Internal Audit. - Take ownership of self-development, including stretch assignments, to prepare for greater responsibilities and career growth, and take initiative to seek out opportunity for continued learning. - Ability to multitask and organizational skills are critical. Qualifications - 7+ years internal or external audit experience (Big 4 experience a plus), or relevant compliance or technology/operational risk experience - Comfortable with Data Analysis - at a minimum be able to compare/analyze data using Excel or Access. Familiarity with Alteryx or other analytic tools are a plus. - Other technical skills such as general familiarity with coding languages (e.g. SQL, Java), Cloud is also a plus but not necessary. - Bachelor's degree (or relevant financial services experience) required. - Must have demonstrated knowledge of technology processes, such as change management, security operations, technology operations, and business resiliency, as well as application and infrastructure controls. - Professional certification (e.g. CIA, CISA) or willingness to pursue required. - Experience with audit methodology and applying concepts in audit delivery and execution. - Excellent verbal and written communications skills. - Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with business and control partners.
