As part of IPB Alternative Middle Office which supports the day to day (EMEA Hours) execution of Hedge Fund & Private Equity operations, which includes client documentation review, transaction processing, corporate actions notification & tracking, trade reconciliation, investigation of inquiries and provides support to front office and client-facing stakeholders. Your role will be a split between Change Management through Automation & Operations. Under Change, you need to assess the identified automation opportunities, assess feasibility & code the automation independently or with support of change mobilization team. Under Operations, you need to support the team manage day to day volumes.

The Alternatives Group (Hedge Funds & Private Equity) supports the day to day (EMEA Hours) execution of Hedge Fund & Private Equity operations, which includes client documentation review, transaction processing, corporate actions notification & tracking, trade reconciliation, investigation of inquiries and provides support to front office and client-facing stakeholders.

Your role will be a split between Change Management through Automation & Operations.

Under Change, you need to assess the identified automation opportunities, assess feasibility & code the automation independently or with support of change mobilization team.

- Expertise in RPA based automation leveraging Automation UIPath

- Expertise in skills of the future (SOTF) self-serve tools like Alteryx, Xceptor, Tableau etc.

- Understanding of any languages like Python, Java

- Understands functioning of databases & linkages

- Problem solving skills, opportunity identification & assessment ability, excellent communication skills

- The expectation from this role is to identify opportunities, assess feasibility & code the automation - essentially the completely life cycle of automation!

Under Operations, you need to support the team manage day to day volumes.

Responsibilities :

- Liaise with firm-wide programs in evaluation and implementation of existing / emerging digital tools

- Identify and manage existing initiatives

- Re-engineer and automate the processes using Intelligent Automation.

- Establish and implement best practices

- The candidate must be aware of process re-engineering techniques.

- Ensure accurate and timely completion of operational procedures.

- Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all Risk and Control regulations.

- Monitoring and chasing queries to ensure timely completion based on deadlines/urgency/escalations.

- Manage operations with minimal or no supervision.

- Identify, evaluate and deliver process improvement initiatives.

- Ensure that documentation is maintained up to date.

- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME)

- Support BAU operations' execution

Key Competencies :

- Strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to details.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel)

- Understanding of Change Mobilization Tools (Alteryx / Xceptor / Signavio / Tableau)

- Understanding of BPM (Business Process Modelling)

- Ability to communicate effectively to different styles and at different levels of seniority.

- Strong Client Focus: adhering to response time to client and maintaining high client satisfaction.

- Adaptability: effectively organize and prioritize work to meet stringent deadlines.

- Assertiveness: willingness and ability to challenge the status quo and express opinions,

- Strong team player with solid interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with individuals and within the team local / global.
