As a Technical Business Analyst, Specific responsibilities include :

Refining New Ideas, Product Initiatives/Capabilities into Functional Requirements :

- Research and analysis of existing and new capabilities in order to appropriately leverage, design and/or supplement them with new requirements.

- Review and Analyze production defects, control breaks, and monitoring gaps etc.,

- Creation of the activity flow diagrams for different use cases, including clear segregation of functionality based on the context

- Ability to analyze complex cross functional business processes and define integrated requirements.

- Componentize initiatives/capabilities into executable Epics that will deliver business value to a customer within each release.

- Creation of user stories with very clear description and greater level of detail including input and output fields, all the use cases (positive and negative), leveraging techniques like spec by example, Gherkin syntax, or other structured specification approaches

- Assist in UAT testing and Production validation of the closed/completed stories every sprint and/or releases.

- Ability to facilitate the design of integrated solutions (process, technical & organizational) and ensure the end to end solution will deliver the required business results.

- Drives the definition, testing, training, and implementation of functional requirements.

Drive Timely delivery of the Functional Requirements & Release/UAT Coordination:

- Collaboration and awareness of established target dates for customer readiness of Product initiatives/capabilities

- Engagement with Product Owner to ensure that requirements are sufficiently communicated to enable technical design, estimation and build:

- Ensure refining of Epics and Stories are completed timely in order to meet sprint goals and release goals.

- Review functional solution designs with Architects and collaborating with engineering teams to agree API's, interactions etc. where required

- Participate in technical validations along software developer and QA/UAT partners in order to iterate on requirements and acceptance criteria, leading to defect mitigation and efficiency of requirements delivery.

- Assist UAT Team members on testing goals and timelines in accordance with release timelines.

Own the Technical Validation of Implemented Features & Functionalities :

- Ensure feature/capability is properly validated at the time of each release

- Escalate and prioritize any production defects in accordance with the level of severity and criticality of the defect, including participation and oversight of production triage, mitigation and remediation.

- Drives adoption of the designed processes and solution use with stakeholders. Communicates with business SMEs/POs to ensure expectations are kept in line with Initiative/Feature Delivery status.

- Upon implementation, drives knowledge transfer to Production/SRE Support.

Participate in the Agile scrum ceremonies in order to achieve the above :

- Daily Standup with Scrum Team (s)

- Product Owner Signoffs

- Defect Review sessions

- Backlog refinement / Epic refinement sessions / Story refinement sessions

- Sprint Reviews

- Sprint Retrospectives

- Sprint Planning & Release Planning

Qualifications :

- 8 + years of product management, business analysis or relevant experience as well as record of individual technical achievement

- Previous experience (5+ years) in a financial services firm

- Previous experience (5+ years) being a business analyst in a development team

- Experience with agile product development and software delivery lifecycle

- Expertise in business requirements writing and communication.

- Effective communicator with excellent written communication skills

- Proven track record of delivery and new product feature creation

- Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and calmness under pressure

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Technology, or related discipline
