Job Description:
The Global Know Your Customer (KYC) Quality Assurance (QA) team is in place to support the Firm in implementing and sustaining AML/ KYC firm wide standards across all business segments. The Quality Assurance team supports the review of activities performed by several Line of Business (LOB) teams that support the firm's Global AML/KYC Program with the primary focus placed on review and analysis of KYC records.
The Team Lead will be responsible for supporting the Global KYC QA team in various tasks, including application development and maintenance, technology support, user acceptance testing, stakeholder management, and collaborating on a wide range of projects and initiatives. This position will report to the APAC KYA QA Associate and will partner with team members located in international market centers and support hub locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing application development and support for KYC QA applications and tools
- Identify and contribute to improvement initiatives to enhance existing and new processes
- Develop business requirements for existing and new processes when enhancements are required
- Perform ongoing User Acceptance Testing on enhancements to KYC QA applications and tools
- Subject Matter Expert on all KYC QA application and tools
- Work with Global Partners to ensure consistency with the Global QA framework and governance approach
- Effectively communicate with key points of contact to ensure the fluid sharing of information and feedback across pertinent teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Commerce, Finance, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience within the Financial Services industry; AML/KYC knowledge, application support, and/or project management background preferred
- Strong research, analytical, and comprehension skills, with ability to analyze large amounts of data
- Working knowledge of one or more general purpose programming languages
- Basic knowledge of application development
- Demonstrated ability to raise issues or information to relevant stakeholders or management with respect to the control environment and to present the issue or information in a concise and effective manner
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others for results
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have outstanding attention to detail and experience in providing innovative and proactive solutions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office with emphasis on MS Excel and Microsoft SharePoint
